The Gateway/StoneBridge team is not a Counseling Business entity but a collection of Private Practice Therapists who come to work under one team to provide our clients the best care possible. Each Clinician is responsible for their rate of pay, billing and helping their clients achieve their personal goals. As a team we meet bi-weekly to securely and privately discuss the need you may encounter, giving you more then one perspective but the knowledge that a team of highly trained therapists are on their side.

As clinicians we know how valuable building trust and report is to the therapeutic process. Our promise to you is that we will never make therapy about us, We will always communicate as much as it is therapeutically appropriate about the changes we may have to make and if we need to make calls or refer you to a different style of care we will never do so behind your back. YOU are in charge of your therapy, you can make the decisions.

Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
We are an association of therapists, each with a unique perspective and set of skills that are as individual as each of our clients. It is reasonable that not every Therapist is for you. With our team you have options to see who is the best fit for your needs.
We implement a cognitive coaching style of effective psychotherapy which instills self-understanding and encourages adoption of new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. Therapy does not need to be a life long endeavor and we teach our clients the tools to help themselves.
It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
Out of Network Providers (OON)
Coverage You Can Count On
We provide quality and personal counseling and coaching which requires payment for session prior to each appointment. We teach our clients how to get reimbursed if their insurance allows. With our Out of Network price you have access to a more hands on coaching model to assure your goals are on track.
55-60 minute session
In person or online, the 55 minute sessions is needed in the beginning of the counseling relationship in order to build trust and truly learn about one another. In some cases, when a profound moment has been reached, sessions will take this long and longer if needed.
40+ min session
Once trust and understanding have been established most sessions last between 40-50 minutes. As we begin to develop tools and become more independent in our mental health care, the weekly sessions can move to a bi weekly 45-60 min session.
30 min. session
Shorter sessions are used when skills are mastered and a check-in or a " booster" is needed - Some sessions also get cut short due to life or moments outside of our control. the 30 minute sessions is often better than canceling last minute.
Sliding scale fee
This option is not offered by all clinicians and may not be reimbursed by some Insurance companies.
Often we are asked to call and talk with or write a summery of treatment for other agencies or doctors. We are more than happy to coordinate care.
No show : Full fee of scheduled session
Late Cancelation: (within 24 hours of appointment) : $65.00
